Default something is just not right

something in my tank just doesn't look "right". after the power outage it looks like something in the tank is different. you know the "look" you have when you know everything is "right", well that "look" is gone. seems like the color of everything is wrong. could this still be stress ?? or should i be looking for something ?? i know softies let off toxins when stressed but i did a 20gal water change 2 days ago and i added some new carbon tonight. guess we'll see how things look in a day or two. any suggestions while i am waiting on the carbon to do its job ??

IMO, the most important stabilities in a great system consist of #1 Alkalinity,#2 PH, #3 Salinity, Temp, andlow phosphates. Any changes of those parameters(some more drastic than others) can and will show signs of stress(some typical signs are those you mentioned). Test anjd add for those things if neccessary. Good luck.
There's nowhere else I'ld rather be... unless, of course, you're buying

well all has been tested and chemicals have been added and it is really starting to look better.some of the color is coming back now. even some of my Anthelia (clove polyps) are coming back. hopefully they will grow quick because i lost a lot and really miss the movement from the stalks. i will keep you all posted on the progress. Thanx for the advise Repto.
