    In an update, I took the starfish back to store and they gave me a credit. And, all the rest of their blue starfish had perished as well. LOL, go figure..

    Well, it's a darn good thing you took him back to the store. At least you didn't have to deal with him melting away and dying on you. I wish all reefers would make a pact to not buy them, because then they may just quit ordering them in only to watch them die. I know I'll never buy one again. It's to costly, and I feel so bad whenever something dies in my tank! Pick yourself out something new, and chalk it up to experience!

    FYI,Blue linkias are on of the species on Eric Borneman's list that should not be collected for the hobby.They have a dismal survival record in captivity.
