T-5 ho because of the light output, low heat and variety bulb configuration at a modest cost.

for someone just starting out I would highly recommend t5 high output lighting, it may be a little daunting at first with the selection and configuration of bulbs, but at the end of the day it is a really good bang for your buck.

I agree with the first two posters.... Sounds a lot like the convo we had the other night right? Good ability to change bulbs to different spectrums for less money and easy to come by at any LFS. Also used market i usually full of these from people changing configurations and or lighting styles.
The days are long and the work is difficult but every night I sleep as a man who has achieved his goals.
