well I think I FINALLY got everything ok. just wanted some opinions. 10 gallon fowlr(mostly lol) 1 powerhead which will hopefully soon be a sweeping deal when I get some extra $$$ lol ya right "extra" lol anyways. I have about 10 pounds of live rock, aragonite sand at about 1 inch tops, maybe a little less. 6 nassarius snails 4 turbo/astrea snails 4 cerith snails HERMITS = 1 black zebra 1 brown zebra 2 rediculously small brown zebras i mean like less than 1/4 inch lol 3 blue leggeds and 1 scarlet reef. 2 hitchiking snails (some sort of nassarius I think) 2 peppermint shrimp 3 hitchiking starfish 2 redish 1 black and grey striped. 1 unseen hitchiking pistol shrimp( never seen him yet lol) 1 unidentified polyp well three but there the same, u get the picture, 1 unidentified clam and some smaller ones, varius dusters Christmas tree worms exc... lol and I think thats about it . hmm last test was ammonia 0 nitrite 0 nitrate 20 but that was right b4 a water change. I guess thats it lol wow thanks for your input to come. (pics to come of the un-id'd critters) oh ya and 2 15 watt 18" NO flourescent lights.
and oh ya duh my CUTE little 3 stripe damsel. He's SO cute lol he was tiny and ich free but then he got ich somehow? I went back to the store and theres all had ich now too lol great timing right. Well now he is fat as i have been over feeding him to help the little guy out. No q/t (shame on me I know) hes is ALMOST ich free now but no more fish till he is ich free for a few weeks. ALSO my ???'s are
1. I have a "aquatic plant" light and a cool white slightly bluish bulb on there. Is that ok? I KNOW no corals under this light, but the one I have came on the live rock and is doing fine so far. hes at the top so **** get some light. (fowlr ((mostly)) remember heehee lol
umm2. Well i went out to get a yellow tail blue damsel, but saw the 3 stripe and thought he had more personality so I got him instead. Now I WAS NOT planning on keeping him. I didnt use him for the cycle either. Once the cycle had finished I wanted to put some bioload on the tank. Then when I got my fish it would be less stressful and I would get rid of the damsel. But he is cute lol and my girlfriend named him so I might be stuck with him... I want a high fin banded goby. Will he torture him? I read they are really mean (the damsel I mean) when they get bigger. Also any possible tankmates for him at all? just wondering. Oh ya btw SORRY FOR THE RAMBLING lol I am pretty happy I finally got the cycle done and the cleanup crew set and everything and now the ich is almost gone and what not blah blah blah. I know i get feedback about too many hermits. I know lol but I heard to use none, 1 per gallon 2 per 5 gallons and 1 per ten gallons so I went in between somewhere. I am thinking about getting rid of 1 blue but we'll see.
