    I've been using reef crystals also for almost 2yrs. I've only tested for cal-and kh and ph It's always been pretty consistent for me. cal420-and kh 9 and ph 8.4 I don't have a mag kit. However our LFS only sells reef crystals/instant ocean and oceanic so I haven't tried anything else.
