    Default transfering sand

I had a 10g FOWLR that I moved into my 55g. I left the sand and the water, unplugged everything, and kinda forgot about it for a while. Maybe 6 months or so. Now I would like to put the sand in my 55's refugium. What would be the best way to do this? The sand is clean and no algae, but I'm not sure about the stagnant water. Should I rinse it in a bucket of water? Leave it wet or dry it out? or just put it in there? I have read about baking it in the oven, but I'm not really wanting to do that, it seems like a real PITA. I see it as just sand, but I'm just wondering if its gonna have ill effects if i dump it in with just a rinsing.

Dam Melev, I totally love your page. BTW sending you the bill for glasses, didn't need them before but after spending so much time at your page NOT BLINKING seems that I now need them

Only if I can blame you for these ^%@#*@#^!%! bifocals the doc thinks I should wear.... but for some reason I can't tell you what color the frames are..been a while since I've looked at them.

I firmly believe in having an "excuse" handy at all times, so you go right ahead and say, "It's all Tracy's fault!"
