well. . . i went up to the store on friday night to check on the eggs. they were still there and looked silver to clearish in color. i waited and hour and a half after lights turned off, nothing happened. then i came in saturday night about 15 minutes after the lights turned off and the eggs are gone! so i missed the hatching of my ocellaris babies. i turned the pumps off and put a flashlight on top of the tank shining into the water to see if any of the babies will swim up to the top. after 15 minutes, nothing. i will be putting a piece of black acrylic down by the anemone so the clowns will hopefully lay their eggs on that next time. live and learn i guess.
till next spawning!

That's a bummer. I doubt they will spawn on a smooth surface like acrylic. Try a ceramic tile or clay pot.
well it's too late for that... lol. they already laid their eggs yesterday starting at 5:20 going past 8pm. same place as before. i called my husband right before they started laying the eggs and told him to bring my camera asap. so i actually have the spawning on video and have some decent pictures. i'll get these posted as soon as possible.
Tuesday the clowns were scheduled to lay more eggs, had Mike run out and get a terra cotta pot and i stuck it in the tank blocking the spot where the eggs are usually layed. This morning i'm looking around and i don't see any eggs. well i just found some at 5:30 And not in the pot. they are next to the pot on a rock. they are already a few days old, my guess is that they were layed on monday. the female wasnt fat and didn't look very pregnant on tuesday and i just wasn't looking in the right spot for the eggs.
