Thanks! Good to see your around still. I don't use the bio optim. The bio digest and reef fuel keep things so low I don't think it would make things any better. I am happy with the results I am getting so why change things.
Oh yeah....still around. Typically I get more time on here and post more in the less favorable weather months. I'm a waterskier, so when the water is flat, I'm at the end of a rope behind my boat in the ski course. It's just as addictive as reefing.
Interesting about your situation using bio digest with reef fuel. Never though to implement that mix. I've been fighting some issues in my system lately and can't figure out WTH is going on. This thread I found very interesting. Corals are all growing well, SPS are really taking off after a pale spell, but I have cyano that creeps up within a couple days of a WC and some GHA that, no matter how hard I work to remove, it just keeps coming back.
I can't grow cheato in the sump, so that's of no use. I'm running ecobak and that's killing my trates, but I have bound PO4 somewhere......and in the algae. I have a low bioload and feed moderately. I think part of my issue is the low bioload. In any case, the SPS are growing great and I'm happy about that....
