Wayne is doing good, he has a 300g powered by leds now in the living room with big *** fishes and slowing growing challice collection and few other corals as well.
I'm glad he is still reefing. I first learned to appreciate MH bulbs when I seen his tank back in the day.

Oh there are plenty of frags around. Its a beautiful coral. Thanks for starting the thread chuck.
Wayne's a great guy... every now and then he shows up on the boards or at a swap. Would love to check out his new setup!!!
JakeM, let me know before the Plymouth swap if you have a big frag available. I'm planning to be there!!
Detroit's oldest large LED tank! Est'd Jan 2005, went LED June 2009. 6' wide 130g reef, Sunbrite T10 LED tubes (3xGen 3 and 1xGen 1), mostly SPS, but chalices, other LPS, and a few softies too. http://pjr-reef.blogspot.com/
Hey Slapshot, Its actually a very fast grower for me. One of the fastest I have. Mine is kept under PAR of 500 with strong indirect flow produced by a nano wavebox and a tune 6305 that is on for ten sec and off for ten sec. I'll update this thread with some growth shots in a month so you can guage my speed of growth.

Weird, mine looks great, colors are right but it just won't grow. The rest of my acros have doubled in size in the year and a half I have had it and it hasn't changed at all. I guess ill move it and see what happens. Thank you!
For comparison sake, here is a pic of a Wayne's Rainbow frag (L) cut about same time I recvd Jakem's Rainbow(R) back during Reef Solutions swap. Both have been within 2" of each other on same level w/ 2 AIs running aproximately 275 (LED) PAR (33white 85 Blue 85 Royal) (pic taken under 100wht 100blue 100 royal) I cannot see a resemblance personally.
A perfect example of how corals can have the exact same genetics, but can attain a different look in a different tank. Fortunately, Jake did confirm that Jakem Rainbow was infact Waynes Rainbow. I applaud him for his honesty. That is the mark of a very good seller. He will have some business coming his way from me. From what I have personally seen and bought, Atlantis Rainbow, Waynes Rainbow, Jakem Rainbow and PC Rainbow are all the same coral. At one time I did think I had Rommels Rainbow, but it turned out to be Waynes Rainbow as well. Even an Atlantis Red Table I purchased turned out to be Waynes Rainbow LOL. For those reefers that are interested in purchasing a rainbow coral, I would purchase only one kind and move onto another completely different looking coral. I would also recommend purchasing from sellers that have mature colonies. This is the only true way you will be able to tell similar corals apart.
Imagine that? Well it's not my feeding. I'm pretty sure I out feed more than most in here. I moved it today, we will see. It was in a spot that was getting a ton of light but not a great amount if flow. Now it is in a high flow area with slightly less light.
