One of my Fav's to grows great. I several large colonies of it. i move them to differant heights in my main tank and they can almost look like different corals because of high and low light. P.S. I have tons of frags ready and i will be at all the swaps coming up.

    We need pics

By the way... Is Jakem Rainbow also Waynes Rainbow? The pic by DKnuckles looks like Waynes Rainbow in lower light.

Wow! Your colonies must be absolutely MASSIVE!!! This coral goes by quite a few different names. Its really a beautiful coral. A reefing buddy of mine was able to get blue to show in extremely bright light. I haven't been able to do it yet, but I may have to experiment with a few well placed corals.

    Warmest Regards,
    James

Wayne's a great guy... every now and then he shows up on the boards or at a swap. Would love to check out his new setup!!!

JakeM, let me know before the Plymouth swap if you have a big frag available. I'm planning to be there!!
Detroit's oldest large LED tank! Est'd Jan 2005, went LED June 2009. 6' wide 130g reef, Sunbrite T10 LED tubes (3xGen 3 and 1xGen 1), mostly SPS, but chalices, other LPS, and a few softies too.

Anyone else find it to be a slow grower? By far the slowest acro in my tank.

Hey Slapshot, Its actually a very fast grower for me. One of the fastest I have. Mine is kept under PAR of 500 with strong indirect flow produced by a nano wavebox and a tune 6305 that is on for ten sec and off for ten sec. I'll update this thread with some growth shots in a month so you can guage my speed of growth.

    Warmest Regards,
    James

Weird, mine looks great, colors are right but it just won't grow. The rest of my acros have doubled in size in the year and a half I have had it and it hasn't changed at all. I guess ill move it and see what happens. Thank you!
