Default Great zoa article in Coral Mag.

I just read a great article in the latest edition of Coral Magazine titled "In praise of zoas". Very informative with great pics. Oh, and the author is associated with one of our sponsors... rock on Coral Morphologic!

How about highlighting a few issues / topics from the article, for us non-coral mag subscribers?

Oh sorry, wasn't trying to be a tease.

The article broke down the various species of zoanthids by region (Indo-Pacific or Caribbean), morphology and coloration as well as provide some information on general care, feeding and disease/parasites.

One thing I didn't realize was that you can dip zoas for 5 minutes in a 1:1 ratio of hydrogen peroxide and tank water to rid them of pesky algae.

IDK. Article only said "algal overgrowth". The author (Colin from Coral Morphologic) also suggested that this dip may be good for other hitchhikers and that more experimentation is needed. The great thing is we can ask Colin simply by posting the question in Coral Morphologic's forum (assuming he's the person at CM that visits CR).
