All post and new topics must be aquarium related topics and replies.
We will have 10 qualifiers each week for four weeks. At the end of four weeks we draw the winner from all the qualifiers. I will announce the top 10 at the end of each contest week. The member with the most points at the end of each week will get 5 entries and the other 9 qualifiers will get 1 entry each. You can qualify more than once...qualify all 4 weeks to maximize your chances. Here are how the point's are calculated:
Point Scale
3 Points for each new topic started in the Reef Help and Information Forums (i.e., Basics, Hardware, Chemistry, Corals, Marine Fish, Other Marine Life, Product Reviews, Identification Forum, Breeding Journals, and Pay it Forward) in addition Member Reefs, Photography and DIY Forums will also be awarded 3 points per new topic.
- Topics must be at least 25 words and be aquarium topics.
5 Points for each new topic in qualifying Reef Aquarium Showcase forums
- These forums include the Coral Collector, Fish Finder, and Invert Index forum.
-Topics must include a photo and completion of the data form (note tapatalk users will need to post from a regular browser to see the data form).
10 Points for each new Feature Article
-All articles must contain accurate information on a marine aquarium related subject, must be a minimum of 300 words, and should contain pictures relative to the subject matter. Articles will need to be submitted to me and I will edit and post the article on your behalf in the Feature Article Forum.
1 Point for each new reply made in any of the forums mentioned above.
- Post must be at least 25 characters long.
Drawing
At the conclusion of the contest each qualifier will have their entries included in the drawing which will be picked at random and announced in this thread.
