honestly i like how you did it before jim and just did a behind the scenes pick, on here what if i have 15 friends that don't know anyone else so i tell them all to vote for mine eventhough it may not be the best, just seems like you would get more accurate results on a behind the scenes.Fun stuff!

or maybe do like you said, pick the top 3-5 and we vote from there.

I agree with Jolson. Behind the scenes avoids the popularity contest, but it is nice to see everyones opinion. I would have the behind the scenes thing select 3-5 and then open voting to the community for 3-5 days.

he could base it off percentage, so say 10% if there was only 10 submissions behind the scenes picks the winner, if there are 30-39 submissions you pick 3 best for public vote, 50+ pick 5+ for public vote etc...

I like the idea of widdling it down to 5 each month, or what someone else said keep it behind the scenes so someone can't sway votes by telling people to vote for them.Fun stuff!

I prefer the idea of a private selection panel, perhaps a public vote to narrow down to 5 finalists then select a winner behind the scenes....I also think their should be some time set aside for reentry after you've won. Not sure how long in between wins, but it would keep it interesting. Could have previous winners help with voting for as long as they are ineligible.....
