Default update on my frag tank upgrade/ anemone propagation

Hers a video of it. everything is done except that i dont have an ATO yet, thinking about tanking all the money from the swap and buying an Elos, i know its expensive for a frag tank but i use one on my display tank and i see no reason to try another brand, when the controller failed they gave me a brand new one and some freebies. plus i love the no moving parts logic.

    That block looks familiar!

I think that filter floss could be a concern for nitrates. But I hope I'm wrong.

i know there will be lots of organic build up in there. so im hoping the mass amounts of macroalgae i have will do its part by assimilation immediately after the mobilization phase of the N cycle rather than denitrification taking pace, which it likely will. if not ill trim them down so that only the top of the baffle is covered my them

so far all nitrogenous compounds are reading 0ppm, the test nems are doing fine. i gotta say im really liking one of these test nems. i bought it for a very low price, just kinda picked a couple out of a bin at Kees aquariums for ~$10 ea. one of them has a cool pin stripe pattern to it and is starting to color up, hints of yellow/green are starting to come out. i wanted to post some pics of the coolest $10 nem out there.
