    Default WTB: Aquarium heater(s)

    Hey guys and gals,
I had 2 heaters...didn't think I needed them....I was wrong. So if you have 1 or 2 that would work in my 80 gallon reef. Let me know. Thanks, DIRT

I asked something like this a while back.

You can never have too many heaters AS LONG AS they are all thermistaticly controled.

ex: say you have your 80gal tank

    if:

1 heater will raise the temp 2 degrees in 4 hours
2 heaters will raise the temp 2 degrees in 2 hours
3 heaters will raise the temp 2 degrees in 1 hour
    etc.

each heater has to work less and the tank stays more stable.......

(I guess thats what you were asking right?)

I bought one big heater today. A 300W. That should keep it warm enough until summer comes back to Phoenix....then the chiller will take over!
