Thanks for the info. Where are you located? I have a 115g cube w/ a 80 g sump and I need to upgrade my skimmer. I upgraded tanks from a 70G w/ a 20g sump to the new tank and the old skimmer just isn't enough anymore. Trying to weigh my options. I was stuck on getting a reef octupus before I seen your post. Now Im not sure
I'm located in grand rapids. It's a great skimmer but I do love my xp2000.
