    This thing would probably be too big for my future 55gal predator tank right? If not then I will take it off your hands. You guys know better than I do about sizing this stuff though.

    What are the new tank dimensions? The typical 55 long is 48 long, but there are a number of varieties. I'll measure the overflow and post how much actually resides in the tank and you can make your guess from there.

    Really depends on how much water you want to move through the tank/sump. You could always only use one of the drain lines.

    This was used on our 180g. (which BTW will also be hitting the selling block here shortly, it's still housing 3-400lbs of live rock and our large tangs that all will need a home(s).

    It's a std. 12x18x48 tank dakar. So yeah i guess i could plug off one side. 400 #s of LR? may be needing some for the 250 gal...... let me know when time comes to move it!

    Getting out of reefing at least for a while. And I need to clear some space.... they are taking up SOOO much room! I have tanks scattered all over the dang place, upstairs, downstairs, even some out in the garage! Things got way out of hand here.
