The Aqualine Aquafuge is a mini refugium that hangs on the back of an aquarium. It does not replace a real sump/refugium. It's made for those that won't put out the money for a real sump/refugium or have a situation where they can't place a sump/refugium under their tank.

IMHO, the Aqualine Aquafuge units are too small to do much good on all but the smallest tank. Even then, any benefit is questionable. Regardless of the price, You would not get much benefit from an Aqualine Aquafuge. In a short period of time you'd realize it was a waste of money.

Just my opinion of the Aqualine Aquafuge and other too small to do the job sump/refugiums.

There are many pieces of equipment on the market advertised to do miraculous things for your aquarium that are essentially useless. It's buyer be ware. Educate yourself by reading good, up to date books on reefing.

If ignorance is BLISS, why are there so many miserable people in the world???
