I am trying to work out the ins and outs of vodka and MB7 dosing. If my routine seems weird please feel free to comment. I started about 4 months ago dosing MB7 about 5ml daily for a month. Started to get cyno blooms. Then I started my vodka and slowly got up to 1.3ml daily and after my "loading" doses of MB7, dropped down to about 2.5ml weekly(one time dose). No cyno now but some hair algae. This could be due to my lacking on water changes through a tough school year. I thought nursing school would be easy..............LOL. Anyways please add comments to my MB7/vodka dosing. Again, it's a 50 gallon.

^ I had the same issue. I moved them to a rock of their own.

Not really. I have to go in there and pick it off every week or so. I know this is effecting growth but I try to balance not touching them and being choked out.

I haven't had algae issues on mine. I'm running phosban in one of my back compartments though.
