Thanks Patrick - what it really needs is a good clean-up crew, but with the pistol shrimp that is almost impossible, as it kills snails almost as quickly as I add them to the tank. Soooo for now, its manual cleaning with a little help from a few asteria stars.
I collect PEs, and I'm always looking to trade for ones I don't have yet.

Thanks Bryan - he is actually living under a rock rather than in it. I can't remove him, as the tank is actually his home and the students get a kick out of watching him eat whenever we feed him. Sooo, I'll just have to work around him.

Thanks, they are kind of fun to watch aren't they? Especially when they reach out and wack the snail. Unfortunately, they make it very difficult to keep a clean-up crew.

Ok, time for an update. I really have to give kudos to Bryan (Skyhigh) for the great job shipping. Everything started to open up the next day, and I never lost any polyps in transit. Soooo... high five Bryan!

All polyps still sitting on the sandbed, lighting is the dual t5HO, second dual t5HO is being phased in, so as to not light shock the polyps.
