    Talking Snail Explosions??

DavidP...Are you serious when you say your snails really and truly exploded. That had to be an awful mess, and pretty gross too! Your poor little hermits probably thought it was fun at first, but that's a lot of snail parts to eat! I have to admit, this one made me giggle a bit! Thanks for sharing that little tidbit of info. I'll make sure I always keep my salinity at a nice safe level for sure now. I tend to fall behind a bit on the 45g reef that has my tangs, clowns, Engineer Goby, two chromis, and a few corals...mostly from the gift of them Whoyah sent to me. I don't have to babysit that tank as closely as I do the ponies, but Dave brings me top up water more often now, so it all helps! Thanks for the 'sploding snail funny!

It is just that in New England, especially during heating season, the evaporation rate was out of this world..and my snails 'sploded.. then the aglae blooms, then the fun ended
