    Default 100 gal sump

I use a rubber maid 100 gal tank for my sump works great. I have plumbed the return pump in the bottom and I have a emergency over flow about 4 inches from the top in case the tub some how over fills it will go out the emergency drain and go to the floor drain. This all works great so I thought I could use a second drain for auto water changes and for my RO/Di drain. I put a T in middle of my first drain line and went over about 5 inches to a 90 then in to the new bulk head. That goes in to the sump at the same hight as the fist drain. Now the problem the new drain hardly lets any water out to the point it will let my sump over fill if the first drain is caped off. If I uncap the first drain then it sucks water out alot faster than it can go in. I just don't understand why doesn't drain 2 work as well as drain 1
