It dissolves the mineral deposits much more quickly is used warm/hot. It literally "blasts" the calcium off of the part being cleaned, easily cutting cleaning time in half. If diluting with water, simply heat the vinegar water solution for the same effect.Originally Posted by TM01

I noticed that the warmer the water temp was the faster the pump seemed to get clean.
