Well what do ya know ! I like my I Pad again. Neptune systems has a new app for it's Apex controller. It works much better then it's previous on line control panel. Changeing outlets is quick and easy and turning things off or to manual on or auto is a quick touch and done ! No more need to update for your changes ! The charts are very clear and information is displayed in separate windows so you no longer have to turn things on or off and then update and then zoom in to see what your looking for ! Programing outlets is also as simple. It seems to run flawless also and the screen doesn't clip evry ten seconds either. The is for all apple products only tho ! Guess I am stuck with the old version on my android for now ! Oh yeah it's a free app also ! Maybe Mrs Santa will get me an I phone for x mas. Lol I highly recommend this app to my fellow Apex users. All you will need to do after you down load it is tap the edit button and put your Apex's I.P. address in the host box and then your ready to enjoy your apex again !
Oops forgot to tell ya how to find it ! Go to apple apps and type apex in the search widow. Easy peasy
I tried to apply the new firmware, but it didn't go well. My controller was stuck in a rebooting loop, every 10 minutes it would reboot itself. If you do decide to update the firmware make sure that you backup your settings and have a rollback plan.
I've been contemplating on updating my firmware. I'm still on 4.10. Are you running the latest?
I have not done the firm ware update. I no longer own a windows product so can't do it and if it's working why fix it !lol the app doesn't require a firm ware update as far as I am aware of. Worrking great for me. I am even considering getting rid of the P.I.T.A pad now. No need for it anymore with how well the app performs

Neptune now has an update module that works from OS X (if you have a mac computer).

I had the same issue with the last firm ware update. I had to send it to Neptune. That is why I said if it's not broke leave it alone ! Lol hope you got it straightened out tho
