Default Apex WXM w/ Vortech & Radion question

I'm setting up a new Apex and have linked the WXM module and the Vortech and Radion. The outlets were created in Apex Fusion. If I want to plug them into the energy bar outlets do I also need to program the plugs?

I've got a WXM... but have not set it up yet. My understanding is the fixtures do not need to be plugged into the EB8. Hopefully someone who has used the module can verify.

I know they don't, but I think I have extra and would like to contain the wiring.

If you don't have to plug them in the EB8... Why would you need to program the EB8 outlet?

You can program it on an outlet...but don't need to. The outlet would need to be programmed to be "on" all the time is all...the advantage is if you want to turn off the pump for maintenance or whatever, its easier to to that outlet off. Or program it to turn off with other things if you are doing maintenance for example, I have a virtual outlet called "Maintenance" that turns off the return pump, vortech, heater, osmolator, etc. during water changes. It also has an alarm function that starts sending me texts if maintenance is on longer than 15 minutes...in case I forget to turn things back on.

Do you have them up and running now? Its been awhile since I sync'd mine up, but as I recall the directions were pretty good in terms of getting them to talk to each other.

all set and running, just need to setup some of the fail-safes and alarms.
