Wow that is a lot of saltwater volume! It makes sense to have separate sumps for each system. How many gallons do you change out each month and how often? Do you keep it nitrate free or a little high? I guess if you have lots of SPS it would be super clean. Just curious how you are keeping it.
My tank is mostly softies and LSP. I keep a few nitrates with Caulerpa in my sump. I haven't had much luck with the Cheato but want to try it again. I have no issues with algae. I only have to wipe down the glass a couple of times a week and I have no cleanup crew other than my Midas and Tang who both love algae. I had a huge CUC but lost it all but 1 small snail when I was sick and had to ignore my tank for an extended period of time. So I have kept putting off getting another CUC.
Always learning, loving this hobby.
