Email your name, address and phone number to hydor.com along with an explaination of the problem. Their customer support is excellent. They also have a forum over on Nano Reef where they answer questions. Maybe we can get them to sponsor Captive Reefs too?

I have sent email to hydor.com yesterday so we will se how long and if they will contact me.
Hopefully they will sell me a new shaft and ship it to me.
I will let you know what happens.

Thank you and please keep post here when you get word. I would prefer to use a ceramic replacement shaft if possible. For now I cleaned mine and am running it Chort55-style. It still gets off balance once an awhile and rattles but seems to find its way back to center fairly quickly.

Well Well Well, I got home today and found a envelope from hydor. I thought now that is fast from California opened it and they sent me a steel shaft. (darn darn darn) I had told them it was a ceramic shaft when I contacted them, it must be their replacement shafts are stainless steel. But all in all that is great service a free shaft and in a week!
So would I buy another Koralia, YES!
I wish more places stood behind their products.
