Glass under the lights may not be such a great idea, first the glass will reflect some of the light back up instead of down to the tank. Not to mention any salt spray will quickly cover the glass and you will lose even more light to the tank, unless you clean it thoroughly almost daily. Tried it on our 55g, ended up tossing the glass after a short time.

I got glass cut the same length but like 2 inches wider than the light fixture to prevent this. I see all the salt buildup on the glass instead of the lights.#ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#DIV#ed_cl#Is there something different I should be doing with my light fixture to prevent the salt from accumulating on it? I'll gladly pitch the glass if I can solve this problem.#ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl#
