The DIY "kits" that are out there won't fit what you want, but it's more than ok to assemble the parts you need without resorting to a "kit".

For me, an ideal setup for great coverage, intensity, and color would be an 8x2 array, no optics, with a mix of neutral white and royal blue LEDs. The ratio of white to blue will depend on the drivers you want to go with. If you stay with fixed output drivers (no dynamic color control, and you have to adjust intensity with the height of the fixture over the tank), then go with a 2:1 ratio of blue to white. If you want to use dimmable drivers (full control of color and brightness if set up correctly), then a 1:1 ratio works.

The reason for the difference in ratios is to counteract the increased red output in the neutral whites. With a 1:1 mix, you get a pit of a pink tint to everything, and the light is quite white. With the dimmable drivers, you can adjust it to your hearts content, and the colors blend better because you can lay them all out better.

Call the shop. I don't stock any parts.

Nanotuners is a great place to deal with. I have ordered most of my stuff through them and have not been unhappy with speed of shipping or products.
