Honestly, I don't believe the answer to cyano is more flow. I have a ton of flow in my tank and still get it from time to time. When it gets unmanageable I use a little myacin. I think the underlying cause is a nutrient issue...but at times it is unavoidable.

I agree that flow is a myth only because I have a rock that is about 3 inches in front of my VT and its covered. However, if there is something to be learned from this, the cyno has shown me where my dead spots are and I am hoping to eliminate them.

The tunze 6025 runs about $70 new but if you want a contrlerable one expect about $250

I like the Koralia 4's, they have a magnet mounting system.

Go with the K1. You're looking for flow and the K1 has more of it.

However, if you're willing/able to spend the extra I suggest a Tunze nanostream. I have a 6045 and a Koralia 2 and the Tunze is more user friendly and much less obtrusive. It's easier to hide because it's round and the mount holds it closer to the glass and you have a limited range of motion with the Koralia.

I'm not dissatisfied with the Koralia... just more satisfied with the Tunze.
