    Default need more light on the new tank

    well all is up and going with the 75 but not near enough light. running 4x t5 54w (2x 10k & 2x actinic). would it be too much if i added another of the same ? any ideas will be helpful and like the rest of us has to be on a bit of budget

    8 bulbs would no way be too much light. That would be great! We grow lots of coral under 8 bulb T5s

    i have 8 t5's over my 55 gallon, i have them about 12" above the water tho.

    Depends on what you are stocking your tank with. I use a six bulb setup and I grow sps lps and softies with proper placement.

    I am running a 6 bulb unit on my 75 currently and I think it does a good job however an extra 2 bulbs would be nice

    just added a single 10,000k for now everything seemed to snap out of the swich but thanks for the thought
