Thats a decent price, comes out to around 4 to 4.50 when you include shipping. LR usually doesnt have to go over night, so get the slowest available.

    UPDATE!!!!

Alright! Here goes! The order above has arrived! Everything looks good. I'm in the office right now, so I'll take pix of it all later tonight when I get home.

I've also gone out and bought the tank and a Top Fin heater.

I decided to go with a 20 High, instead of the 20L. I liked the looks of the dimensions alot more, and thought it would do better for rock scaping.

    Dimensions: 24L x 12.25W x 16.5H

I've also started building the stand! I originally build the frame 3 inches too deep AND 3 inches too tall. (Its supposed to be 36" tall, 29" wide and 20.5" deep.) So, I had to correct all of that. It was an easy 15 min fix. The frame is made of 2x4's and will be covered w/ 3/4" stain grade oak plywood.

    Total project cost so far:

    $266.00

Pics to come tonight! Thanks for following along!

WOW sounds nice only thing I would have done different is sticking with the 20L. It is easier to get light to the bottom with a shallow tank and I think longer tanks are easier to scape as you can stretch the rock out over the length instead of stacking. But I'm sure you have a vision in your head and I for one can't wait to see it come to life. GOOD LUCK AND GIVE US SOME PICS!!!
Does water always taste like salt and poo????

Just a word on the Fission Skimmer... I'm sorry I just now saw this thread! I would've chimed in sooner!

I bought the skimmer for my 10g from Pet Solutions, and after a couple of weeks of tinkering I just couldn't get it to work right. I called Pet Solutions, and they suggested I call the manufacturer. Current told me that these skimmers were specifically designed to go in the AquaPods and would be extremely difficult to "tweak" properly for a standard tank. Pet Sloutions told me to send it back to them and happily (and promptly) refunded my money.

Perhaps Foster & Smith will be as kind for you...

lol 2x4s are MORE than sufficient =P
Just make sure their balanced, if not you'll need to add a piece of foam or other soft material for the tank to distribute its weight evenly.

Yeah, the top (and sides) are gonna be covered with 3/4" oak. I'm gonna put adjustable legs on the bottom of it to make sure it stays level.

Now, for the question of the day, what about this picture just doesn't fit?!
