Alright Guys! Its time for yet another update!!!

I don't have a whole whole lot to report, but there is some!

First of all, I did recieve 2 shipments in today. One being my RO/DI unit, and the other being my retro 4x24w T5 light kit. I haven't done anything with the lights yet, that will wait until I make the canopy for the tank. I have however installed and ran my RO/DI unit!

As discussed in my RO/DI thread, I have connected it to the washing machine cold line and the drain also shares the washing machine drain... Works great!

    Here's some PIX!

RO DI Unit001 - Its Nanotime!

RO DI Unit002 - Its Nanotime!

RO DI Unit003 - Its Nanotime!

RO DI Unit004 - Its Nanotime!

RO DI Unit005 - Its Nanotime!

This thing really was a breeze to put in! I only had to tighten 1 canister and re-run 1 line due to very small leaks.

    Tap water TDS: 132
    RO only water TDS: 1
    RO/DI water TDS: 0

    Success!

Also! I placed what I hope to be two of my last non-live stuff orders today.

The first is a Refractometer from Drsfostersmith.com

I also orderd 2 Red Sea Master Test Kits today. I got the Marine and the Reef one. These both should come in very handy! The last thing I picked up today was a Coralife Needle Wheel Skimmer 65g model. (sorry eric)

Next to last, I have made a little bit of progress on the stand. I've got a unique way that I am doing the front of it that is taking some time. I'll get you all some pics on that in the next couple of days!

And, finally... This is what my wife has now set as her desktop backgrond just as a joke to pick on me and my nerdiness!

    ScreenCap - Its Nanotime!

    Hope you enjoyed!

Alright, small update! I've found a steal on some computer fans online at NewEgg.com... 10 highly reviewed / rated fans for 11.90 (free shipping when you buy 10). Here's a link to them!

I also have recieved my shipments from PetSolutions and DrFosterSmith.

Also, I've done some work on the stand! I've got the front on in (minus the door) and both sides. I've started standing it and putting wood filler in the cracks as well. Its coming together nicely. I just need to figure out how i want to do the shelving inside it, and put the back, bottom and top on it. Then, I'll get the door on it, and get it stained / polyed. I hope to have it done by Dec 16th. I'm out of town this week, so I'm not able to make much progress on it.

    Here's some pix!!!
