The 75 gal comes with a hood for 48 " strip lights. I'm going to get 4
48" T5 how would I set this up? Would it be inside of the hood or
    what?

Is it a true hood or canopy? Hoods are generally flush with the top of the front of the tank with a fixture centered or to the rear, a canopy is more like a box that sets on top of the tank. If it's a canopy the new lighting should be mount inside. No trouble there.

Got a pic or example to give folks a better idea of what you have?

This is the tank i'm looking at now. its a 65 gal. I'm not sure if its a hood or canopy. How would I fit the lights in the hood/canopy? Do i really need 2 double bulb T5 retros for a 65 gal aquarium that will have annemones? How many maxijet 1200's would you recommend for the tank?

Some anemones require loads of light. Your best bet is to get the 4 bulbs of T5, and you're still going to upgrade at some point I imagine. Everyone does.
