#ed_op#DIV#ed_cl#Though to say there realy isent a hard and fast rule, in general most people recomend a minimum of 10 times your water volume turn over in circulation. So for your corner tank you would need a minimum flow rate (turnover)of 480 GPH other then that so long as your not giving you corals whiplash every time a pump kicks on you cant have enough circulation. tiger, very well described... LOL. I completely agree... begin at about 10x's per hour for softer leathers, etc and for those things such as sps, no less than 20x's per hour. FYI, with head(average is around 4ft) and a SCWD, it's very realistic to say that you're losing about 25-30% of your water flow on average. That would drop you to about 560-600 gph.
