So here are my new LED fixtures they are Ecoxotic 6061 fixture with 1 453nm stunner strip and 1 403nm stunner strip per fixture. Ill keep everyone posted over the next few months on the progress of the coral growth and health.
Im hopeing for good results becuase if it turns bad thats alot of money that i wasted. Ill post up some pictures later of some of my corals as a starting point for the update post later on. Also if anyone is in the area and wants to check them out or has a par meter and wants to get a reading on theses let me know.
Most of my coral are loving it so far but some of my acros are not as happy as before with the halides so I but some screen over the tank to filter the light a little to kinda slowly aclimate them to the new lights
I will be watching this thread. I almost got 3 Ecoxotic panorama modules when I put up my tank in November but it was a difference in like 250$. (I went with a diy 250w mh pendant.) I wouldn't stomach spending that when I was already forking out so much for everything else I needed to get started. The lights look fabulous and very bright in that tank of yours. I can't wait to see how your coral like if after 6 months and beyond.
