Just want an opinion on this combination of LEDs for a DIY rig.

The Ratio is 2 whites for every 1 blue and 1 Royal Blue.

Thats also a $2200 fixture. I was just using it for color temperature comparison, theres no way in hades I'm paying that much for LEDs over my reef.

yeah, once i get leds over the main i want to get a controller to do that function though, that would be sweet.

i like the color of those, depends on the type of LED really. i would go with 2:1 blue:white, my 1:1 blue:white is just too white IMO

its not only ratio of one color to another but also what model LEDs and the efficacy and drive current of each type that make a difference in what you see.

Right, I understand that, but I figure with those color combinations, I can dial it in to my wants/needs. I'm still waiting to find a good pic of someone using Neutral whites with Cool whites. I heard it gets kinda yellow with too much neutral...

well, what im saying is that if they are using dimmer whites (like XRE's) whereas you could get XPGs the ratio would not hold true since an xpg produces 30% more light than an xre at the same current.
