    Default POWER HEAD QUESTION (FLOW)

#ed_op#DIV#ed_cl#I have a pump in the lower corner of my tank and it rotates about 30 degrees or so to move the water around. Is this the best place for this or should it be toward the top of the tank? Itmoves 280 gph and I have a 55 gal tank. #ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl#

Maybe this will help a bit, just a general rule of thumb, for better water conditions overall, powerheads and the like should be placed to where they will best keep nutrients suspended in thhe water column so they can be skimmed out instead of settling.

But please share some pics or the general layout of your system.
