    Default Reefkeeper question?

Ok sorry if this should be in another area.
Looking for feedback on getting a Reefkeeper Lite or possibly and older version. How do you like them and how is the ease of use. What components do you run with them. I know the basic overview of them just looking for feedback from ppl that use them. If I buy new I will get the basic RKL so I will only be able to control 4 things with it. My light fixture is 3 wire setup, Lunars, Actinics, and daylights so it would only leave me one spot for now and I would probably plug the heater into that.

    Thanks for any input

I would for sure go with it. You can eliminate any timer bars that may be not trust worthy. Also it would allow a fail safe for your heater if it were to 'freak out' on you. You could up grade it with the MLC module for lunar control and free up on of your channels for the skimmer w/ float valve mod, or another heater. I always recommend two heaters on anything over 50 gallons or anything with a sump.

As for ease of use, very intuative and easy to use and program. Just don't get an older model they are discontinued and no future upgrades available.

Hit me up before you do pop for one, I may throw down with you to get a better deal on a 2nd PC4!!

    Love the reefkeeper lite!

I am about to post up some videos about mine. Best 99$ I ever spent.

    Yup!

    http://www.digitalaquatics.com/saltwater/RKL

    Three levels to chose from:
    Basic: ($99.99)
    1 x Head unit
    1 x PC4 (4 outlets)
    1 x temperature probe
you can then program the headunit for all the features you can imagine!
