    Default Gyre XF-130 Flow Pattern?

At 30% flow rate I'm getting awesome flow at the opposite end of the tank. But the flow isn't making it fully to the end where it's at. Actually the flow is pretty low.
If I turn it up, I get way to much flow. Wondering if placing it vertical would work better with my rock work? I'm gonna try it, guess I'm just looking for conversational opinions-lol.
Pump is on the left, horizontal, about 2-3" from waters surface.

I have one running vertical and one horizontal Jamie. I set my horizontal so that it just barely doesn't move the sand and now have the vertical running about 70% in wave and constant run mode. I have found in the vertical you can run it much higher without moving all the gravel to end of the tank. The 150 really moves some water. I would assume the 130 does also. In the horizontal I have found the closer to top of the tank the better it does!! Good luck and have fun with all those new toys you bought. Nice doser !

I have a 130 in my tank. I have a 120 that is a 4X2X2 it seems to be doing pretty well. I have it in pulse mode and it has not moved the sand around to much. The flow directly below the pump seems a bit low but in the rest of the tank seems to have great flow. I do believe i need to move some rock around to try and get some different flow. I am super happy with it overall. I am sure you will figure out what works best with your tank.

I put mine on Gyre today. 30% forward & 20% reverse. I'm liking it. Every reverse seems to be stirring things up, way cool.
