Default Skimmer selection advice needed! Save me from myself!

Got to start getting all of my equip. gathered up for the new 250gal. Started on the sump build last night and I want to know what everyone else thinks I should go with for the new protein skimmer. Sump should hold about 60-65gal. and height is not an issue for me.(not under stand) I have really been drooling over that AquaC EV400! :smt007

Too much even for that large of a set-up? Man, what bragging rights for having that sucker!
The days are long and the work is difficult but every night I sleep as a man who has achieved his goals.

I agree with ASM... however, I would suggest the G4x with an recirc mod. Try pricing the competition on that(Deltec, H&S, EuroReef, etc)! Rob at asmskimmer will definitely treat you well, too...just tell him Reptoreef sent ya.

I am also in the market for a skimmer. I hear this is where it pays off to spend big. What model would you suggest with Euro Reef or ASM. I have a 75 gallon, but am wanting to move up someday(at least 120).
Wholy crap....thats going to cost how much?

for the price and IMO, equal efficiency, go with ASM all the way... for a 75-120... anything from a G3x up will be great!!!

I have heard some great things about ASM as well. i am thinking of going that way for my 90
120 Gallon Reef With Starfire Front, 2 overflows and 30 Gallon Sump. Mag 18 on the Return. Lit by Aqua Light Pro Deluxe. 2 250 Watt HQI Halides and 2 96 Watt PC Actinics all in one. ASM G-2 In-Sump Skimmer. 2.5 years in the making.

Thanks for the suggestions. I've heard alot of good things about ASM. Should I go with a Recirc and plumb into directly into the overflow?
