    Default Weipro Skimmers?

Anyone have any knowledge of or expirience with the Weipro line of skimmers? Looks like a knock off of many of the recent skimmer models. I have been considering DIY'ing one, but it looks like they can be had for pretty cheap. Even if they need a little tweaking for better performance, if they are any good at all it'd me a lot more just for the acrylic.

    Example pic lifted from eBay.

I don't think I've heard well... something to do with the air injection/weaker pumps that really put it down. DIY??? Get the dimensions off of a higher end needle pump(ER, ASM, Deltec, etc) get a some PVC and make the body size you need and just order a high end needle pump to drive it.
There's nowhere else I'ld rather be... unless, of course, you're buying

That was my original plan, think I'll stick to it, searched and searched, even Google returned only 10 results (8 of them eBay the other 2 weren't in English, translations were it was a POS). So I'll pass on it. Think my design will be better anyhows :D
