What the heck is going on ?

HI,
Have a Deltec TC2060 in sump skimmer. Waste goes into a 3 liter container that I probably empty about 1 Liter every 12 hours, so I consider that a fairly wet skim.
The last 3 weeks, every couple of days (generally at night) the skimmer has flooded the floor with about 20-30liters of water all by itself. I have not adjusted anything.
What and why could this happen ?
Has anyone else experienced a skimmer going from 1 liter every 24 hours of waste to 20 liters of water all over the floor without touching anything ??
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Do you need to clean the skimmer?

Have you used any 2 part epoxy lately? I've heard they can make your skimmer go crazy for a while.

HI, The skimmer doesn't need a clean and we haven't used any epoxy at all ? I am dosing Nopox at the moment (like carbon dosing) but it is dosed daily and doesnt explain why it only happens every so often when it feels like it and not every day ?

I'm not familiar with Nopox, but if it's like carbon dosing then you might be getting bacterial blooms which will make your skimmer work more. Maybe cut back on your dosing and see if the skimmer produces less.
