Default will a mag 7 impeller fit a mag 5 body

i have asked this question before but forget the response. Does a mag 7 impeller fit a mag 5 body? i know this may be good advice for some people so we are about to find out. i just put my order in yesterday for a mag 7 impeller and i am going to attempt this weekend when i receive it to fit it in my mag 5 body, then this question can be answered for good!

    What is your guess?

If nothing else you may be able to take the "fan" part of the impeller off the 7 and 5 and switch them out to increase the flow like your looking to do.... if that makes sense lol If not I will try to explain it a little better, but I am pretty sure I was able to pull that part off on my mag24 impeller so hopefully its the same for the 5/7 if the entire impeller wont swap out
make sense to me, worse comes to worst i still have the original mag 5 impeller that works just fine i can just put it back in there if it does not fit. i have read that the impeller will fit in the mag 5 but that was from a single source, i guess we wait and see!

It is surprising how much better a pump works when it is cleaned up.
