We bought home about 20 of these snails from the keys a few weeks ago (you know, the "crabs on a plane" trip). Anyhow, these buggers were picked on rocks along the shore. They do well in the tank... When they stay in it! They come up to the black trim... And often go right down the side of the tank. Eventually they hit the carpet, where we find 2 or 3 per day and toss them back in. They survive each time. They also seem to like the hang-on filter and skimmer.
Any idea what they are? And any Info on them? They have a nice shell with pink overtones in them. Sizes range from 1/4 to 3/4 inch. I also saw these in Jamaica while there on business a few years ago.
