    Can you help ID this coral, got it when I set up my tank - been growing really good.
    Picture using flash - looks darker almost like a dark brown to purple color

    Has sweepers - Thinking maybe a Pavona?

    +1 Pavona. It sends out stingers so be careful

    Yes it does have stingers - this Pavona and my Galaxia are starting to take up too much room.
