ID?

Hey, here I am again asking what kind of coral I got myself. It is an SPS, thats all I know. Let me know what ya think!

looks to be some type of millipora give a picture of when it is closed or a closer picture for a more accurate ID

Looking at the base it looks like a softy to me..But hard to see much detail

I was told it was an sps frag... they had the mother coral there and the guy told me what it was called but I didn't remember by the time I got home. I will post a hopefully better picture tomorrow.

Don't feel alone.... halt of the time whatever 'they' said it's name was... it turns out they were wrong anyhows.

Actually I havn't seen one for a while but that could be a brown hydnophora. When you touched the coral was it hard or fleshy and soft?

I dont think that is hyndo, I have hyndo look at the base of it. looks like a type of Pavona to me

I can't get a better picture, it seems hard but I don't want to hurt it. In real life the 'fur' is a greenish color and they don't go in... this little thing has me confused... I think it is happy at least...
