Firts pic is paly's , possibly a zoo. You can target feed these with cyclop-eeze or similar product or not feed at all.
Second pic is Culerpa, a macro algae great for removing nitrates and other baddies from the system, i would put it in the sump incase it goes sexual on you and spreads throughout the tank.
It's all about the reef. :YEAH:
Sounds about right... the zoa's are photosynthetic and the calerpa is great for a refugium... it is also photosynthetic and will require lighting as well.
There's nowhere else I'ld rather be... unless, of course, you're buying![]()
Yes and for about 15 bucks you go to a hardware store and get the spiral type phillips bulb 150 watts 10.00 bucks and get the heat shield 5 bucks and you have a great light that the macro will thrive with.

thanks all i have a 120 day light spiral on it now and it is in my refuge..
its on a light cycle same as the tank is that ok

I recommend a light cycle opposite of the display tank(DSB).

i personally run mine 24/7 but each person has their opinion so just give it plenty of light and pick which works best for you.
