If it looks like this, it is a type of burrowing sea anenome, called a Worm Anemone - Scolanthus callimorphus. You can see them most often in the evening. They usually are about 1" in length above the substrate and can be 2" or 3" below the substrate. I have many of them in my tank and they don't bother anything.

That's got to be what's in my tank. Those pictures look much better than mine! Sadly though, I couldn't find any sources saying if they were good or bad, but if you say they're no problem, than I'm sure they're not. So it's decided, it gets to stay! Thanks everybody for your help.
