i also have a small white and brown star shaped thing on the glass in my tank. so far i have only seen one. it does move around, though i havn't seen it move.
it's small about a half centemeter in diameter a is white on the sides with a brown center. i'm hoping it might be a baby starfish. i'll try to get a picture.
the first thing you mentioned were some type of pod. they are a very good thing! your fish can eat them they will help keep your tank clean!

It is really nice to see you here in this thread. While your online how about you go over to the TOTM thread and enter or vote. It will only take a minute
what are pods? do they multiply quickly or will they grow any bigger?
Pods are little flea looking bugs that live in your tank. They are a very good thing to have and should multiply. They hide in the daytime and are usually out at night. Pods range in size to teeny tiny little guys to about the length of a pencil eraser.
Does water always taste like salt and poo????
What about the other white and brown thing i mentioned before?
